Pacifism

This is no easy word to define. Although, I will try to attempt to put this term into context from my last entry.

It is hard to be a pacifist. When one tries to be peaceful and not harm anyone and others seem to instigate problems it can be a cause for alarm. Sometimes as in other situations like on the ice in Hockey; a knuckle sandwich, is all that is needed to gain momentum and are put one in line. What a brutish sport, but one I love.

In real life; however, it is not so clear cut. Some believe that force is sometimes necessary. I tend to disagree. If we are to set the example, we must use other methods aside from being attacked or defending one’s right to live.

If we lived in the perfect world we would not have to worry. We would have guns, we would not be afraid of our lives because everyone is stable. However, that is not the case. It is very complex. In a previous entry I explained that I was for the carrot and stick diplomacy of the US of A. Yes, for the time being. However, once we all come to a realization then we will not need to force others not to exploit their people directly with state apparatuses. Now, will we see the date that we can all become pacifist I certainly hope so.

The literature says you can be a pacifist and war in just cause. I also tend to agree and disagree but sway to disagree in most instances. Now, when we all come to the conclusion that war is bad it will do wonders for the world civian economy.

Maybe we need a revolution in Civilian economies or was that globalization. Some people think being a globalist you have to be wealthy, well I think that is not that good of an assumption. As a result we are falling victim to populists, however, if a populist is pacifist then they should get a fair shot at leadership.

War even for military men and women is and always is the last resort. It is truly HELL on earth and let us not fall for it again. We should be loving and not competing. Just imagine what another big war will and can do. IRAN and North Korea have to capability to do much damage even world annihilation if thats not enough we should all vote for pacifists instead of war mongers.

Pasifits need to talk and need to organize; so, educate.

Dignity

To speak of dignity, is to speak of the inherent nature of respect given to a being, place, thing, memory or even rock to name a few. When people disrespect another and call them names, purposefully ignore them, and maybe just plain disrespect can be a harm against someone’s dignity. But first one must understand what RESPECT means.

In this context, it is a very broad meaning of RESPECT.

People disrespect people all of the time. It is natural, instinctual and sometimes not even known.

I remember when I was a lot younger than I am now sibling rivalry was just that sibling rivalry. Some took it personal, some took sides in a sibling rivalry and others were afraid to do the right thing. The right thing to do in my opinion is to let the subjects cool down, and have a respected person talk to them about an incident or multiple incidents.

Taking sides makes no sense and usually staying out of the problem or minding your own business would be the right course of action. No need for peacekeepers here. I remember even at confession mentioning my sibling rivalry.

Sibling rivalry can happen for a variety of reasons. First and foremost it is inherent in our culture of competition. If you are raised especially as athletes in competitive sports even video games can turn nasty. I have to admit the first time I lost a computer game to my younger brother I lost it. And I lost it bad, I still remember I was Cameroon and he was Brazil in FIFA Soccer on the Sega Genesis. He must of felt proud to beat me but he must have been scared from my reaction because I scared myself.

Over the years, I have grown and matured from the ten year old playing video games. But, life is not a game and sometimes sibling rivalry can take a lot of steam out of ones engine. I know my brother looked up to me and every time he felt he defeated me he relished it and it is sad but somewhat natural. He has been nagged on by others to dislike me and it is frustrating.

Time can heal many wounds but people do not know what trauma is and sibling rivalry is not one of them. So to all those who want to ruin this family FUCK OFF!!!!!! There you go. I have not yet died. If people cannot see what I am saying I know many others who have the same problem. It is very insulting and disrespectful to interject into a quarrel between brothers.

If you are not qualified do not meddle. So, we are social beings who all make mistakes. I have made millions of mistakes and smile every morning because I am alive and breathing. Yes, I was difficult to be around sometimes but that is me, my journey and my life. Once again, we all have growing pains, set-backs and issues but never let that get between your unit. Sometimes, being a voice of reason you can make many enemies especially enemies who want to thwart the truth.

It is fine, I’m fine! and I lost a lot of respect for a lot of people in my sibling rivalry.

You know who you are.

So, even though I have beef with alot of meddlers. I still have to treat them with dignity. Yes, my first reaction would be a huge knuckle sandwich to anyone innocent and deserving of one. But that would be against dignity. It would also be against dignity to retaliate or even seek revenge. The mystery of life has a funny way of working things out and realization of ones miniscule problems can never hurt.

We are here once, make the best of it. Do not forget who you started life with. At least respect them enough to give them a call once and a while. The game of life is not a game if your playing by yourself. So, life is not a game it is a reality. Once again make the best of it and do not go out of your way to piss off the only people who really care about you. That is all I have to say about that.

So, yea

should I be upset, off course does it ruin my mood yes does it stop me from living, NO. I was raised to be a machine, and I will not stop until my heart stops ticking. My values are rather self-evident. I do not go out of my way to ruin someone’s day, I use to unknowingly but now I make sure I do not. I am sure.

These are some of the lesson I instill in my children. If you have not known already Gabrijel is the kindest funniest kid already. He reminds me a lot of my younger brother in his mannerisms at that age. Like I said, funny how this life works. And Ivy I cannot express how much the little things mean nothing when I look into her eyes.

So, yes it is a good thing that I can raise children to teach me that no I cannot be a machine since I am human and humans need to pass it on to the next generation.

I know they are in good hands because I am a militant humanist. if you want to know what that means it means that I buy into the carrot and stick diplomacy of the USA.

I never thought I would say this but Thank You USA for all the hard work. Now it is time to stop the rhetoric and all focus on what is important and that is to treat all with dignity which is very American and very natural for all people.

Is Psychoanalysis a “Science” or just a “Talking Cure/Art.”

I would love to see the day that we would have the technology to be able to be able to consider Psychoanalysis a science. Maybe it is here with big data, who knows?

But the art of Psychoanalysis should not be lost or forgotten. It is truly important to understand and have trained professionals in this art, thus not science but can be used as a quasi science. Just as many can see the necessity of a Political Scientist, theories made in Psychoanalysis can be used in the same idea. And both are interrelated. Social Sciences and behaviors have troubled many individuals trying to grasp social phenomenon.

Why do we act the way we do? Is everyone the same? Why do we act differently in different situations or around different people?

These are some basic questions that are really difficult to answer.

Or, do we all get the FUCK IT moment when nothing really matters anymore.

What I am saying is that it is important and to reduce traumas in life and a FUCK IT attitude, really will be more harmful to ones individual health.

Friends, I had a FUCK IT moment in my life and it almost cost me my life, and will probably lead to a shorter life span we will see.

So, very important to think and think about YOU and if you can be your own psychoanalyst good for you. Reflection is important, talk to yourself….YOU know what best. If that is selfish so be it. Rationalism and sanity is what is important. Create your own destiny in your own personal kingdom. Include only those who are beneficial to your sanity, OTHERS be civil, kind and polite.

Those who do not get it, get it now…….

Treat Others as you wish to be treated! If it is not reciprocal snip the bonsai, what’s left will be a beauty.

Do not sweat a second thinking about others who would not even think about their own state of consciousness never mind their own.

Love you all,

Self-Realization and Actualization making dreams a reality.

Human Rights; Dignity and Beyond, whats next.

Unfortunately, I am not to optimistic.

I am not that optimistic because unfortunately the leaders that we have do not have a solid foundation in what it takes to be a humanist and what it also takes to be respectful of rights of being.

What is involved in a Human Right?

First and formost it takes a society willing to follow the constitution and make changes when changes are needed.

Yes, basic civil rights are the begining but for a truly great society we need to understand their is a great divide between theory or paper and practice rights. Try getting healthcare in another province if on a waiting peroid, just try. (federal juristiction is needed)

We all say or think China is a human rights abuser. RIGHT? No, unfortunately not. They have cultrually grown to respect one another a far more than we do here. Yes, certian socio-economic brackets in this country can be said to be the same. However, its not all encompassing. No, im not saying China is perfect, but their soical fabric is just right.

In Canada, we have processes and do not get me wrong it is great, but can use some work. Our health system needs to be changed. Im not talking privitization here just federally regulated would do wonders for our mobility rights.

So what is a Human Right?

Looking for a disusion I will contiune this later.

“Consciousness” continued…

How we percive the world around us is and know what we are seeing is reality is important. But how do we know? How do we know what we see and how we compute daily life to bring us to some sort of knowledge of our own well being.

When trying to understand your well being one must know that.

Is consciousness linked to our senses or is their a better term in our language to describe consciousness or “soul”

When wittleing away at all of the arguments, one must realize that some never even think about this question in their lifetime and it is very sad.

If you have time just think. I know it can be hard with the daily grind but just think. What is the meaning of life, are we just living organisms and maggots after our life ends. I hope not and their is a plethora of information that can enlighten us about nuroscience and physics in which inter-diciplinary study is needed.

What do I think?

Well a rough rough rough draft of my thought is that we are all a part of this universe. All particles part of living beings and not. When we perish out life force soul or cosciousness goes back to the univserse and it is all the people we inspired, hurt and remebered in electrical impulses is others minds. Also, modern technology can record our primary thoughts. We can thus leave a record.

With that said, if we are all about this universe we all have certain rights….hopefully to be explained in later thought. Rocks, resources, air, rain, animals and of course humans need to be respected. This is very preliminary for me so lets think about it.

Just think if we were to do an enviromental study on an ore deposit they way we are suppose too and divide the resources properly maybe we would have less conflict. Just a thought.

So yes, resources can take a human form in wealth extraction and redistribution of wealth.

For example, if we understand colonialism and the politics of resource gathering we will understand that it is not that easy. Many legal obstacles and conflict can occur but to abuse a weak people without the capability to fund a legal obstruction to resource gatering in my mind is an abuse of human rights.

Representational Theories of Consciousness

Another great question in philosophy is “Consciousness.”

How do we perceive our reality or is everything an illusion not to be too simplistic. This is very important to think about when trying to answer this very difficult question.

What is consciousness? How can we test consciousness? Is consciousness different for every individual or are we constricted to our conditioning and linguistic capabilities?

A great source of information regarding this question can be found at: https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/consciousness-representational/

==================================================================

After having a discussion with a family member, they through out the idea that the soul is consciousness or the ability to perceive and recognize reality of the outside physical world. I said I had to sleep on it. Very difficult question and somewhat unanswerable.

In the scientific sense consciousness and the ability to navigate life from birth to death would linguistically and probably medically mean “soul”.

For me, “soul” has been mystified as a sacred life force for some time, so it was difficult to compute. Hence, I had to sleep on it. Being conditioned to the fact that the soul could mean many things. My cousin and I came to the realization that soul may be the wrong word for this life force.

I am still unsure.

Are we all animals that develop consciousness, which is sacred or distinguishes us from other animals or do animal also experience consciousness?

hmmmmm.

I am still thinking about this.

For me or after limited thought on the question, maybe we all living and non-living things are connected to this universe. How we experience life can all be connected too. How we perceive our surroundings and react to our perceptions in what we call daily life over a human lifespan is very interesting and some call philosophy of the mind.

What makes us different? What makes us similar? and what can get us into trouble or be happy or sad all has much to do with our perception of the outside world. Our navigate able qualities and adaptability is actually necessary for survival in most instances.
