FAMOUS LAST WORDS: Eric Dane

Eric Dane’s final words to his daughters, Billie and Georgia, were a heartfelt message that encapsulated his life and lessons learned from his battle with ALS. He encouraged them to “live now, right now, in the present,” to “fall in love,” to “choose your friends wisely,” and to “fight with every ounce of your being and with dignity.” These words were a poignant farewell, reflecting his resilience and the lessons he learned from his illness.

Heart wrenching and genuine thought coming from a Man who had it all; successful actor, family man and one with some demons. In his tell all, coming to grips that he would die soon he view on life is spot on. His message to his daughters is wise and honest.

Coming form a Man who was not the nest to himself, using drugs and alcohol to suppress demons from pass trauma is never a good thing. His honest message to us is to choose your friends and acquaintances wisely. Could not have said it any better myself. Anyone feeding you garbage is never a friend I do not care who they are…

I have seen many go down this road … I just pray that they have the wherewithal to understand their wrongs and make amends before they pass.

As for Eric Dean, he has come to grips with his demons and may he rest in peace!

I hope his daughters take his message seriously because we are all taking it now and it is great advice.

NEXT up, …. Jane Goodall one of my favourite teachers and scientists.

But first a musical interlude…Heavy one…ha

  1. These final words from Eric are truly something extraordinary. The honesty and clarity that comes through them, the direct encouragement to live in the present and choose your people wisely, feels hard won and deeply meaningful. There is something so powerful about someone who clearly did not have an easy relationship with thier own demons turning that into a gift of wisdom for his daughters. His battle with ALS was handled with such extraordinary grace and his final message reflects that same dignity. This is a beautiful tribute to a genuinely complex and courageous man.
